My cousin Ricky Rodgers "Little Rick" was killed June 6, 2004. My aunt donated his organs.

My donor was an 11 year old girl from Arkansas, I don't know anything else about her but not a day goes by where she isnt in my heart.

Cyclosporine and Prednisone

I had my surgery at Children's Health Care of Atlanta, done by Dr. Thomas Dodson. At age 13, I was the 8th child in Georgia to have a liver transplant.

I am now followed at Emory by Dr. Thomas Heffron.
About Me: Please use this space to tell the community about yourself and your unique experience with transplantation:
I received my liver when I was 13 due to liver cancer caused by Tyrosinemia. My transplant has led me to the most amazing people and given me the chance to do things I never dreamed of. I have been apart of the transplant games since 2000. Anyone who knows me there, knows I'm totally addicted to it. I love running, more so now than ever.
