About Me: Please use this space to tell the community about yourself and your unique experience with transplantation:
i have a descending aortic dissection Type B which was diagnosed in 2003. a few weeks after that diagnosis, my left coronary artery dissected causing a heart attack. i was on a bi-V ICD until 2006 when i spontaneously dissected AGAIN in my right coronary artery. i got my 1E exemption transplant in October 2006 and received my heart a month and half later. the dissection is sort of like what happened to John Ritter but i was lucky to have experience doctors who knew what NOT to do. i have more details listed in the link below. ;-)

Hey Jen. I'm only 13 miles away from you in Honolulu.
Thanks for the invite. This is pretty cool. And I got some interesting info from transplantbuddies about bloating. I am not alone in feeling like I swallowed a watermelon.
See ya soon.
Terry.

I just got a note from Bob Johnson, asking me to contat you. It seems tat we are both are very close on our transplant dates, and I might be able to answer some of your questions ( just ass you might be able to answer some of mine!) By the way, the picture I have posted on this site was taken at the Honolulu airport, post transplant one year latter.
