About Me: Please use this space to tell the community about yourself and your unique experience with transplantation:
I work as a medical biller/coder for Maine Medical Center Family Medicine in Portland, ME. Am the proud parent of one son, Stephen. I am coming up on my 10th anniversay of my kidney transplant. It has not been without ups and downs, but thanks to all the excellent doctors, nurses and my supportive family and friends I have met this challenge. I have also made many new friends on this journey. As to my donor/donor family there are no words to express my gratitude for such a gift. Even though I do not know my donor family there is not a single day that goes by I do not think of the suffering in their loss and the courage it took to pass on the gift of life.

I started adding more hills during my rides after reading the Pitt course descriptions. I rode up the Deering Ave. hill yesterday on my way to work. My thighs were burning by the top!

Sorry to hear about your accident. Hope the insurance issue gets resolved in time. Will you be going to the games? Is your brother going?

Glad to hear you are going. I won't be cycling this year now. I was T-Boned by an SUV and the bike is unfit to ride and i'm dealing with the insurance problems at this moment. Just glad to have nothing broken or extremely damaged. Hope to see you there. C
