For 2 1/2 years I was on the wait list. In those two year I became closer with my higher power, my wonderful kids who I have had the chance to see them grow up. Thanks to some very special people. There Gift of life saved mine to see more of life. to give back to others my experiences with transplantation.

Hey Charles,
Nice pics. I can see you though. Ha ha. Wasn't feeling well in Pittsburgh. Came home & had some bloodwork done. Come to find out I was in acute renal failure. Was in the hospital for a few days. They hit me with methyl prednisone. That didn't quite do it so I had 6 treatments of plasma pheresis with IVIG therapy after each treatment. My numbers are looking good and I think because I caught it early they were able to treat it agressivley. Life is good. Hope all is well with you and your family. Stay well.
