- My surgeon Dr. Yoshimura Naka, my wife Marilyn for caring for me (as well as two children) when I was unable to do so myself, my sister Martha who was a godsend (and fortunately on staff at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center (CPMC) during my incarceration there (4 months), my friend Fred for being there (almost every day) during my stay in the hospital, and the rest of my family and friends for their support, Dr. Ronald Drusin my follow up cardiologist at CPMC, Sue Cech, and the rest of the of the staff at the Cardiac Transplant Center at CPMC>
