The Dr's don't really know why my kidneys failed, but they think it has something to do with my premature birth. I was diagnosed at age 17 and had already lost 2/3 of my kidney function. I was 23 when I had my transplant. I am very grateful for my dad who donated his kidney to me.

Hmmm, $70 a month? Seems like a lot - especially since I will be lucky if I make it once a week. Damn. I wonder if they would let me pay per session? That way I could get some block start training and any other pointers I might need. It would be so great to have some "professional' input. You think you'll sign up? I am so impressed with your progress - you're being recruited now! What a stud! Hope you had fun in Ashland!

My friend Laura! I miss you! I am really really hoping to be able to swim this weekend - is there a day that works better for you? My house is roofless and my new shingles are nekid! But maybe I can break away. How are you? What do you think of trying to join up with that masters team a bit?

After works for me. It will be late though. I have an appointment at 9, 10, and 11. So we could have lunch and coffee if you'd like. I'm not really familiar with Portland. I live out in the suburbs, and grew up way over in North Porthland. That area isn't as familar to me. We could meet in Northwest somewhere if you'd like. I should be availalbe about 11:45. I'll send you mail, through the team NW yahoo group with my phone number. We can talk, and decide.

Oh, the tattoo was after the transplant, so was the belly button piercing. It wasn't recommended, but I checked out the shops, and ensured there methods were sterile. I also looked at their history. Transplant was supposed to be the beginning, not the end.
