- porgraf, imuran,pravastatin I am also diabetic from my heart meds I am type 1 and take insulin shots.

Well, the year of my first anniversary, I said to my parents, I want to have a "thankyou " party...I didn't want anything, but I wanted all my parents friends, my sister/brothers' supports , church, work, etc, to come to my parents home, ( as it's much bigger than my home), and had a "thankyou party"..
I had a book to sign, and a scroll that each person received upon entering, and it had thankyou's and sayings on it, then we had a drop in for 4 hours, to say, "thank you for your support and prayers, before, during and after my Tx." We had finger foods, and a huge cake...and people dropped in and the house was filled,....I had teachers from years ago, and people ranging from infant to 86 come....it was a great idea and turned out fantastic...my only gift, (mind you people did bring things), but it was the visitors book, for comments from all....answered prayers and such....many photo's and memories to keep me going for months... hope you have a great anniversary...I don't do anything now...as I have my birth date, my first tx. and my second tx. and there 's too much else to celebrate...I had my time...and now it's time to celebrate others.. (my tx. were in 1992 and 1996) God Bless

Congrats on your upcoming 2 year anniversary!! I'm 4.5 years pancreas TX...if you ever have any questions about diabetes, let me know....I was diabetic for 27 years..
