Hi Donnia,
I found that the types of seasoning that i used for cooking were high in salt. I have gone to company that make fresh powder seasoning for me. the powders have helped me in so many was.
I have added a lot of salad to my meals,I go to the city market to get fresh veggies when i can. I wash all the salt of my can good when i use them. If you have a taest for salt eat a lemond or just squzee the juice on your for. it will take away the need for real salt. try and cook your meals and not eat out a lot. most resruants use salt in there food. Always talk with your doctor about the meds you are taking, as a many question that you can. is there any other heart meds. that could be better for me. do a lot of sarching on your on so you know just as much as your doctor it is your kidney and its your life you must take good care of know. I have had my kidney for 7 years. i just had my seven year old birthday july 30th. Contact me any time. I have the address of the company that makes my fresh seasoning if you would like to taese your for (smile)

I was reading your comment on team kidney and I too lost my kidneys to reflux. It went undiagnosed until I was 18 years old and it was too late to fix the ureters, I had my first transplant at 29 and the second just 3 weeks ago at 40.

I am a Cowboys fan actually, so if your a Giants fan, that could make you dislike me a little! LOL But my sport of choice is hockey, so even though I love to watch football, I don't pay attention to the scores and stats too much.
