Nightlife in the Pitt??

Hey everyone, is there a particular venue for some "young" adult nightlife? Cocktails, whatever?! Just wondering where the "cool" kids are hanging out this weekend!!

Most of what you are looking for, can be found right Dawntawn (Pittsburghese for downtown.) The area just south of the tunnels had some interesting choices also. Please avoid the "hill districtic" there is nothing there for you, at all. You will find them to be hardworking, easygoing blue collar people. I loved my time living there back in the early 90's.

there is an awesome sportsbar with open air sand volleyball courts not far from Heinz field. Your Hotel clerk would be familiar with the name of it. The squirrell hill area is alot quieter, and more "low-key". Pittsburgh, downtown, is an extremely simple area to get around. It is incredibly small with most of the population spread out in the outlying areas. I do remember, when I lived there, we walked everywhere we went.
