I have just sent in my paperwork and blood type to hopefully begin the process of becoming a living liver donor for my husband who has liver cancer. I would appreciate any feedback anyone has on this process, especially about recovery and time off work (the real logistics of the thing!) Thanks in advance. Also I am not very computer literate, hope I am doing all this right...

I'm new to the website. My daughter (kidney recipient) is sort of holding my hand.
No obvious nerve damage, except a bout with shoulder nerve pain as a result of the extended position during surgery. It went away after about one month.
